Q: Who is this community for?

This community is for anyone who wants to learn Arabic. Whether you are a beginner who doesn't know the letters, or an experienced learner who wants to engage with the language, our community offers something for every type of student.

Q: Why does the Scholar program begin after Ramadan?

Ramadan is currently during the middle of the year. In our experience, learning during Ramadan is more difficult. For that reason our scholar program goes from Ramadan to Ramadan. Ramadan is used as a break. Many of our students enroll into our Ramadan Crash Course as a quick revision course to keep up with their Arabic. Ramadan 1445/2024 will be around early March 2024.

Q: Can I stop after one year?

Our full program is designed to be completed over two years. While students may choose to exit after the first year, please note that the Scholar Certificate is only awarded upon completion of the full two-year program. Additionally, we cannot guarantee that your goals will be met within just one year. Please also understand that the payment plan is for the full program. It is not a subscription model, so payment obligations remain even if a student decides not to continue after the first year. From our experience, students may understand the material after one year, but they are often still in the process of deeply integrating and organizing that knowledge. Those who complete the second year emerge significantly stronger and gain invaluable experience by reading over 100 pages alongside our instructors.

Q: What if I miss a live class?

Live classes are essential to success. However, we understand that things come up. If you happen to miss a class you can catch up with the recordings. The instructor will follow up with you.

Q: How often will we meet?

We will meet twice a week: Sundays 12:00PM & Wed 8:00 PM We understand that timings may not be suitable for everyone. We do have recordings available and you have TA sessions as well to supplement. In addition, we anticipate to take breaks in between.
